Protecs (click here to access) integrates the former Sub2D and Staph2D protein databases in a consistent environment. Protecs is based on Intersystems Cache DB System and maintains genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and experimental data . After logging in as public user you'll get access to already published results of Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus licheniformis and other microorganisms.

Protecs is supported by DECODONAureusDB (Click here to access) is a lightweight S. aureus database, which provides access to the genome sequences of various S. aureus strains and related species. AureusDB is based on a variety of open source tools like YourDB (http://mango.ctegd.uga.edu/yourDB/), Gbrowse, HMMPFAM, and EMBOSS. With the available data, AureusDB aims at an easy hypothesis generation by integration of different data types within the so-called "Query History".
AureusDB is NOT an encyclopedic reference of S. aureus and is NOT a replacement for existing microbial database resources.
